Optimal Care for Every Community Training

About the Training

The IEHP Optimal Care for Every Community Training has been released in accordance with the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) – All Plan Letter 24-016.  

 

DHCS requires that all plan staff, subcontractors, downstream subcontractors, and network providers complete training on sensitivity, diversity, cultural competency, cultural humility, and health equity, regardless of their cultural or professional training and background

 

This training will satisfy the requirements of the DHCS All Plan Letter 24-016:

 

By the end of this training, network providers, contractors, and downstream subcontractors can expect to gain an enhanced awareness of issues related to improving health outcomes, access, and quality of care for IEHP members. 

Please start this training by reviewing the following options

Providers: please complete the training via the Provider LMS platform

1) Provider LMS platform access:
  • Providers must complete the training via the Provider LMS platform
  • Your username is your individual NPI number
  • Please agree to the Terms & Conditions

Please note: If training is completed via the Provider LMS platform, your attestation is automatically captured upon completion of the training and passing the quiz. 

 

 

2) Providers that have completed this training with another health plan:

Please Note: If a provider has already completed this training with another health plan (Molina or Kaiser), within San Bernardino or Riverside Counties, please complete the attestation form via the attestation form link provided above. 

IPAs: please complete the training via the e-Course

Please Note: IPAs must complete the training via the e-Course link provided above. Once finished, complete the attestation at the end of the training and email to address indicated on the form.
