Data Exchange Framework (DxF)

IEHP is pleased to announce we are part of the new California Data Exchange Framework (DxF) and as such, have signed the Data Sharing Agreement (DSA). This will allow other DSA affiliates to request and receive clinical information for Members quickly and securely. Manifest MedEx (MX) is designated as IEHP’s Qualified Health Information Organization (QHIO) partner and will process all requests received from DSA affiliates.

This service is available for all DSA signatories regardless of contract status with IEHP.

• If you are a MX participant, no additional action is required as access to the data is available through MX portal or by querying Manifest Medex through the national network at eHealth Exchange.

• If you are not a MX Participant but have signed the DSA, three options are available:

1. Query Manifest Medex through the national network at eHealth Exchange, which can also be accessed through the Carequality and CommonWell networks.
2. Contact MX at DxFDirectory@manifestmedex.org to set up a technical connection.
3. Contact MX at info@manifestmedex.org to become a MX participant.
